Movie posters give us an instant glimpse into what we could be getting ourselves into. It creates a first impression, whether good or bad, and gives us a tangible piece of the movie to think about. If it looks interesting enough, do we want to pick it up read its synopsis, or just keep going to the endless other cases that surround it? That’s why here at #themovieden, we appreciate a quality movie poster. And we want nothing more than to share a couple of our favorites with you!

The color. The action. THE STAR WARS. There’s not much to not love about this poster. It served as the beginning of an incredible series, and this image alone takes us right into the think of it.

This poster gives us so much to think about. It sucks you right in with its spirals and artistically it hits the mark for one gorgeous piece,

You cant help but be a little freaked by this poster. It’s obviously a drawing, but it gets us thinking “what if…”

One word can be used to describe this poster. Trippy. You feel a little disoriented looking at it for too long. None of our staff has ever watched this film, but that doesn’t keep it from being a favorite.

This is such a great movie, and this poster is no less. It lets the audience in on a little secret about Pleasantville before you even see it come across the screen.

This is another one of those posters that expertly shows what this movie is about. You have no choice but to see the monster that is “The Truman Show.”

Kinda creepy and pretty cool. This is one fun movie poster.

THE LEAN!! Their futures so bright they gotta wear shades. We love these twins. And their dapper little suits. And nice clean clouds.

This is easily the most iconic group pose we have seen on any movie poster. Ever. So recognizable and so frequently imitated, you cant help but fall in love with this funky club.

Bill Murray? Yes. Bill Murray inside a clock?? YESSSS. We can’t get enough of this movie or Andie MacDowell’s head on chin pose.
